Dragon Ball Super Limit Breaker and Ultra Instinct have been explained. This theory proves that Ultra Instinct is a part of Limit Breaker.
Ultra Instinct is just a technique, Goku is getting another form!
Dragon Ball Super Limit Breaker and Ultra Instinct:
In Dragon Ball Super episode 113, Whis said Ultra Instinct is extremely hard to achieve, even for a God of Destruction. Hence Ultra Instinct isn’t a form, it’s just a technique.
Goku will achieve Limit Breaker form in his next fight against Jiren and not Ultra Instinct. The red aura we saw in the leaks, previews and posters is the actual new form of Goku. Goku achieved the Ultra Instinct using the Spirit bomb as a trigger. He used it as a temporary energy source for his depleted body to achieve that state.
So now, it is absolutely obvious that Limit Breaker and Ultra Instinct aren’t the same.
Limit Breaker form’s hair is spikier than that of the Ultra Instinct, just like the difference between SSJ1 and SSJ2.
Now lets talk about the main difference excluding the spiky hair of Limit breaker. If you look at the first picture, Goku is seen wearing a torn shirt when he achieved the Ultra Instinct. But in the second picture Goku is not wearing any shirt at all. This might be due to his intense battle with Jiren in the upcoming episodes.
This is just enough to prove that Ultra Instinct is not same as Limit Breaker. Maybe Ultra Instinct is a part of Limit Breaker. When Goku learns to control his Ultra Instinct, he can tap into his Limit Breaker form whenever he wants to. He could transform into his new form without tapping into a normal SSJ form or his SSJ Blue form.
